DAY ONE=

Arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport, our transfer driver will be waiting you at the Airport. He will drive you to Moshi Town for your Overnight. In the evening you will be briefing by your Mountain guide on site in preparation of the upcoming trekking. Overnight at FLAMINGO LODGE or choice hotel.

DAY TWO= MOSHI-MARANGU GATE(1860MASL)- MANDARA HUT(2700MASL).

After breakfast, transfer driver drive you to Marangu Gate. After finish the paper work trekking begins and you will soon be hiking through the dense rainforest.You might be lucky to catch a glimpse of black and white Colobus Monkeys scrambling through the lush vegetation. Approximately 3-4 hours later, you will be reach your destination for a day, the Mandara Hut (2700MASL). Overnight at MANDARA HUT.

DAY THREE = MANDARA HUT TO HOROMBO HUT(3700MASL).

The day start begin with an early breakfast and shortly after you left Mandara Hut, you will reach the tree line where vegetation changes to shrubs.Approximately 5-6 hours later, Horombo Hut will come into your sight. Dinner and Overnight at HOROMBO HUT(3700MASL)

DAY FOUR = HOROMBO HUT TO KIBO HUT(4800MASL)

Today stage is long and tough. The trail passes the last water point which is followed by the so called “saddle “. Today’s destination is Kibo Hut and its should be reached in about 5-6 hours. Overnight KIBO HUT(4800MASL)

DAY FIVE = KIBO HUT TO HOROMBO HUT(3700MASL).

Today is your day, you will start in the middle of the night when the lava ash is still frozen and walking on it is easier. You will begin the long strenuous trek to Summit in the dark. Passing the Hans Mayer cave(5220MASL) for the climbing slowly but surely goes upwards. At sunrise you will reach Gilman’s Point (5681MASL) on the Crater Rim. And after 1-2 hours you will reach UHURU PEAK. Now you are standing on the Roof of Africa. On your return to Kibo Hut, you get a Warm Meal and rest for a while to regain your strength. After that you will be on your way down to the HOROMBO HUT(3700MASL) where you will Overnight.

DAY SIX= HOROMBO HUT(3700MASL) TO MARANGU GATE (1860MASL) TO MOSHI.

This is the last day in Mount Kilimanjaro. The heather and moor zone to the Mandara Hut where a Cooked lunch awaits for you. You will be back at the Marangu Gate after 6-7 hours of trekking. After saying goodbye to your mountain crew, you will drive back to FLAMINGO LODGE or choice hotel.
