DAY ONE = pick up from Kilimanjaro Airport and tranfer to Arusha for your Overnight at KARAMA LODGE or PLANET LODGE or choice Hotel.
DAY TWO = After a Safari briefing in the morning and approximate 2 hours of driving you will arrive at Tarangire National Park. Giant baobab trees, bush Savannah and the seasonal marshes add to the wonder of this nature reserve. The Park is also home to Buffalo’s, Zebras, and Wildebeest which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as Lions. Leopards are seen now but Cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the Safari Vehicle you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. In the late afternoon you will leave the Park and drive to your lodge SANGAIWE TENTED LODGE or TARANGIRE SIMBA LODGE for Overnight.
DAY THREE= After breakfast you will travel from Tarangire National Park to the Lake Manyara National Park The Park is known for its over 400 bird species. A large colonies of flamingos and many more Waterfalls. The Park is also home to Giraffes, hippos, Wildebeest, Impalas, and groups of noisy Monkeys and Baboons. After an extensive game drive you will travel to Karatu for your Overnight at MARERA VALLEY LODGE.
DAY FOUR = After breakfast you will travel via Ngorongoro highland towards the Southern Serengeti and at midday you will reach the plains of Serengeti National Park. This Park is the largest in Tanzania and has a diversity of habitats and landscape – short grass plains, Savannah, thick bush, swamps and lakes. Rock formations called Kopjes dot the grassy landscape where Predators are often seen. The Serengeti famous for the Yearly Migration when hundreds of thousands of Wildebeest and Zebras trek to find fresh grass and Water. Serengeti named from Maasai people language (means endless plains) In this night you will Overnight at MBUGANI CAMP inside the Park.
DAY FIVE = After breakfast you will have a full day game drive in Serengeti National Park. The areas that you visit will depend upon where the Migration herds are. Predators usually follow closely behind the trekking animals and include Lions, Leopards and Cheetahs. During the short rain season in November an December the herds move from the hills in the North to the plains in the South. During the longer rainy season from April to June they return up North. Your driver guide will know where to locate the animals and where to see them best. After game drive you will return back to the Camp for your Overnight at MBUGANI CAMP.
DAY SIX = This day you will have a early morning game drive before you leave the Serengeti National Park in the afternoon and then drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will pass through Ngorongoro highlands and drive to Karatu. You will spend your night at MARERA VALLEY LODGE which is located in Karatu Valley.
DAY SEVEN = Early Morning drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area before you drive down into the Crater. The massive collapsed Volcano is home to over 25,000 mammals ranging from the Big Five- lions, leopards, elephants, buffalo’s and rhinos- to spotted hyenas and some of the more than 500 bird species. After an extensive game viewing and picnic lunch, you will leave the Crater in the afternoon and drive back to Arusha for your International flight back home or Zanzibar or Overnight at KARAMA LODGE or PLANET LODGE
