What is the best time to visit Tanzania?
+
The dry season (June–October) is generally considered the best time, with excellent wildlife viewing as animals congregate around water sources. January–March is a beautiful shoulder season with fewer crowds and lush green landscapes. The Great Migration river crossings typically occur July–September.
How far in advance should I book?
+
We recommend booking at least 3–6 months in advance, especially for peak season (July–October) and Kilimanjaro treks. Popular luxury camps and lodges can sell out quickly. That said, we always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests.
Do I need vaccinations or visas?
+
A valid passport is required. Most nationalities can obtain a visa on arrival or via Tanzania's e-Visa portal. A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate may be required if arriving from certain countries. We recommend consulting your doctor or a travel health clinic at least 6 weeks before departure.
Is Tanzania safe for solo travellers?
+
Yes — Tanzania is one of Africa's most politically stable and welcoming destinations. Our team accompanies all guests throughout their safari, and we have deep local knowledge to ensure your safety and comfort at every point in your journey.
Can you accommodate dietary requirements?
+
Absolutely. Please let us know your dietary requirements when booking and we'll ensure all lodges, camps, and our own safari cooks are briefed accordingly. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, halal, and other diets are all accommodated.
What's included in tour prices?
+
All our packages include accommodation, meals (as specified), park fees, game drives, and an experienced guide. International flights are not included unless otherwise stated. We provide a detailed inclusions list for every itinerary we quote.
